​​​DR ANGELA CADOGAN - Physiotherapy Specialist (Musculoskeletal)
NZRPS, Ph.D, M. Sports Physio, Dip. MT

Angela is a registered Physiotherapy Specialist (Musculoskeletal) based in Christchurch, New Zealand who specialises in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic shoulder conditions in people of all ages.

Angela has worked in private practice for 27 years and has worked with a number of high level sports teams.  In 2012 she completed her PhD in the Diagnosis of Shoulder Pain in Primary Care, and this is now her main area of clinical practice. Angela has a number of published papers and teaches courses on the diagnosis and management of shoulder pain for several organisations. 

Angela runs the Non-Surgical Shoulder Service through Burwood Hospital Orthopaedic Outpatients Department and works as a clinical and research assistant for a local orthopaedic surgeon. She co-founded Southern Musculoskeletal Seminars with Dr Mark Laslett and together they provide structured online education in shoulder and low back pain for NZ physiotherapists and medical practitioners. 

Angela is an Independent Advisor for the Health and Disability Commission, is the ex-President, and current Education Committee member for Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy New Zealand, and is a former Board Member for the NZ College of Physiotherapy.

​SARAH BETTERIDGE - Physiotherapist
BSc Physiotherapy (Hons.), PG Cert Phty, MPNZ 

​Sarah graduated 17 years ago in England and her career has taken her between England and New Zealand several times.  She has a broad range of experience from orthopaedic, rheumatology, emergency, hand therapy and musculoskeletal; from the public and private hospital systems to private practice.

Sarah has returned from Auckland to work alongside Angela developing her skills in the management of shoulder problems. She is currently studying towards her Masters in Physiotherapy endorsed in Orthopaedic Manipulative Therapy.

Sarah also has a passion for treating people with recurrent back pain and enabling postnatal mums to safely return to exercise.

Her priorities for every client are to ensure they understand their problem, to give excellent care and aid them to make positive changes to ensure their health and fitness for their future.

ANGELA FLETCHER - Practice Manager
Angela joined the team in 2016.  She attends to the day to day running of the practice and is the friendly voice on the end of the phone when you call for an appointment  She enjoys the interaction with the patients, making them feel welcome and relaxed and is always happy to answer any queries you may have.
