Welcome to Advance Physiotherapy

Our Team
The Physiotherapists on Our Team, Angela Cadogan and Sarah Betteridge, have post-graduate level expertise, combined experience of 40 years, and are involved in ongoing continuing professional development and research in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy. Dr Angela Cadogan (Ph.D) provides Physiotherapy Specialist Services specialising in the diagnosis and management of acute and chronic shoulder conditions. Our clinical and administrative team aim to provide our clients and referrers with efficient and professional services as we work with our clients on their journey to recovery.

What We Do
Whether you have an acute injury or a chronic musculoskeletal condition, our Physiotherapy Services aim to identify factors contributing to your condition, and help return you to your chosen activities as safely and efficiently as possible while minimising the risk of recurrence by providing you with:
  • an opportunity to tell your story and explain your goals and expectations
  • a thorough assessment of your condition and potential causative factors
  • differential diagnosis including referral for other investigations if needed
  • an explanation of all treatment options and the opportunity for you to ask questions
  • evidence-informed management including onward referral for medical specialist evaluation if appropriate
  • physiotherapy treatment and rehabilitation
In addition to injury management, we can also help with long-term conditions such as arthritis, or rotator cuff pathology to provide an understanding of the condition, symptom management and help achieve optimal function, enabling you to remain as active as possible in the activities you enjoy.
