Module 1: Shoulder Screening
Picture
This module covers the screening for red flags, medical screening, identification of psychosocial modifiers of diagnosis and management, cervical spine and neurological examination, interpretation of shoulder imaging investigations and the classification of shoulder conditions. ​

Module 2: The "Stiff" Shoulder
Picture
This module covers the pathoaetiology, differential diagnosis and management of the ‘Stiff Shoulder’, including  frozen shoulder and glenohumeral osteoarthritis. 

Module 3: The Unstable Shoulder
Picture
This topic will cover the classification, pathoaetiology, diagnosis and management of glenohumeral joint instability focusing on the three main classifications of instability and specific rehabilitation considerations. The practical course includes sessions with an orthopaedic surgeon talking about surgical decision making, techniques, post-operative management and outcomes.

Module 4: The Rotator Cuff
Picture
This topic will cover the pathoaetiology, diagnosis and management of subacromial conditions including subacromial pain (rotator cuff related pain), rotator cuff tears and calcific tendinopathy. This topic includes emerging evidence for the non-operative management of atraumatic rotator cuff related pain and the components of rehabilitation. 

Module 5: Acromioclavicular Joint
Picture
This topic will cover the pathoaetiology, diagnosis, non-operative and operative management of acromioclavicular joint (ACJ), including AC joint instability, arthritis and clavicular osteolysis. 

All modules can be done individually, or as the "Shoulder Course Series".
​An optional weekend course is available for each module.
